MINISTRIES THAT MATTER
"When I was hungry you gave me something to eat." That's what Jesus would do and it's what we do as disciples of Christ. We feed the hungry every Thursday at 12:00 noon at Grace. Come out and be a part of Mininstires That Matter!
We make shaws for the elderly and hospital patients. We wrap them in love and we have lots of fun in the processs. You can really say that we are the hands of Jesus. This is a ministry that you can really get hooked on. This is a ministry for people that matter.
What's cooking? Or should I say, "Who's cooking?" It's the Men. Become a part of a strong fellowship of men united to lead and mentor other men and male youth.
Mission in Action! In Covington, Newton, surrounging counites, Georgia the U.S. and all over the world. Join the world of women in missions. The United Metodist Women are a true mission ministry. Everything that they raise funds for goes to missions outside our church walls.
The Children's Ministry Priase Dancers love to dance before the Lord during morning worship. Let your little angel be a part of the spirited and energetic dancing that gets everyone excited. there is a place for your youngester in our Praise Dance Ministry. Every Tuesday evening beginning at 6:15 p.m.
The theme for the Sunday School Program of the United Methodist Church is, "Sunday School, it's for life". If you need transportation to our Sunday School Program. Call the church office and we will pick you up at your front door, for life.
There is Praise Dance Ministriy teaching liturigcal dance for middle and high school student at Grace. It is a beautiful movement in worship when coreography interpretes the dance with the Creator and the created.
Be a part of a new generation for praising God in song! And they are doing it their way. Get your young peson excited about singing contemporary gospel with other youth ages 13-19.
Come before the Lord in spirit and in truth. Each week anyone and eveyone is welcome to worship at Grace as one community. We share our challenges, celebrate our joys and give support in every challenge.
The 2015 Christmas Concert will take place at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday December 13, 2015. It is agrand event for the celebraiton of the Advent and Christmas Season. We celebrate the Emmanuel, God is with us in the Bethlehem babe, Jesus Christ our Lord. Everyone is invited and I know that you will recieve a true blessing.
